API Engineer

For this role, the right candidate will be part of the API Development team to execute the API strategy for our client who is currently building on a team for their centre of excellence.

You are expected to:

• Know-how in the area of APIs , API Design, Development or Apigee Edge
• At the same time, you are required to handle CI/CD pipelines including orchestration tools, GIT and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Maven)
• You will get the opportunity to consult projects on the setup of integration scenarios in the area of API-Management
• You are required to always stay up to date on API advancements and make recommendations regarding improvements to processes and procedures
• Its nice to have if you are hands – on in implementing API monitoring and system support

To qualify, you would need to have:

• A degree in BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience as a developer or an engineer in the industry
• Experience in API management platform
• It would be good if you have Open Banking or Open API experience.
