Asset Management Engineer (IT Banking)

Primary Objective:

Responsible to administer and manage the Group’s IT Asset Inventory with update inventory within SLA / OLA as well as to support on-going business initiatives. Responsible to manage IT Asset Management Tool.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Asset Life Cycle Management and Manage the Asset Management Team.
• Deploy IT Asset Inventory tool for all IT Infrastructure components inclusive of servers, OS (Windows, Unix/Linux), storage, databases and well as related infrastructure (Network switches, routers, load balancers and etc)
• Managing team members to achieve business objectives and outcomes
• To provide technical leadership (subject matter expertise)
• Provide expert level technical support as required.
• Maintain IT Asset inventory as well as ISO 20000 certification for Configuration Management.
• Management and administration of Group Infrastructure Asset Inventory
• Management and administration related infrastructure equipment & appliances
• Manage and monitor the performance of IT Asset Inventory services & system to ensure outstanding operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree – Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Systems Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Certifications in Systems (Unix/Linux Servers, Microsoft Server, Cisco Networking, Virtual Infrastructure, ITIL foundation as well as Systems Management – Systems Center, Performance & Capacity Management systems and etc)
• 5 – 8 years’ experience in supporting and operating group IT shared services infrastructure
• Strong technical knowledge of various IT technology and architecture of systems.
• Good management, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills as well as Technical Leadership skills
