Data Engineer

The Company

Our client is a major Telecommunication player in the market, and they are currently looking for a Data Engineer.

This role will primarily revolve around;

• Designing and developing end to end data pipelines and integration processes
• To perform data profiling, data cleansing, data mapping and etc
• Recommend and monitor ways to improve data quality
• Work and collaborate across various teams in the company to understand business needs

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Physics, Statistics or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience as a Data Engineer
• Experienced in Data Warehouse, Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Spark and etc
• AWS/GCP experience is a must
• Strong hands on experience in ETL
• Good understanding of different database technologies like RDBMS or NoSQL
• Data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview) experience is good to have
