DevOps Engineer

Salt is pleased to announce that it has partnered with one of the dominating chemical producer across various continent globally to look for a DevOps Engineer to join their global team in the U.S.

For this role, the right candidate will be driving the digital operation globally while partnering with their respective colleague who is based in Madrid, Spain, China, Malaysia & Germany.

You new role :

• Ensuring code quality and supporting software and cloud-Infrastructure modelling.
• Ad-hocly, you would need to be comfortable to fix bugs, deploying and supporting your global team mates and have the ability to troubleshoot data management topic and help translate these work to end user.
• You would need to be quick in resolving any high priority or high impact issues related to solutions in the operational desk
• You will be the key pillar on database management and data analysis skills to support reporting needs and resolve data management issues.
• You would also see yourself supporting the implementation of security and data protection updates for their digital operations globally

Skills required for this role

• Degree or significant work experience in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics or in a comparable field
• Preferably you would need to have at least 4 years in DevOps administrative experience
• Experience with Cloud technologies (esp. Azure), Java, Spring & Angular
• Experiences in working in global / virtual teams/projects
• Passion for programming with your global team
