Junior DevOps Engineer

Kuala Lumpur Permanent Negotiable

The DevOps Engineer role with our client will be contributing to the CI/CD deployment within the business cloud offering.

For this role you are expected to:

  • Take ownership of technology that is related to the aspects around DevOps implementations
  • You would need to have knowledge on building and setting up several new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Throughout your engagement, you are required to define software deployment approaches and environment promotion strategy
  • At times you are also required to collaborate with different teams to adopt DevOps practices and achieve CI / CD outcomes

You would need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with listed tools – e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, VMWare
  • Experience in administering cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google cloud platform
  • Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as AWS Cloud formation, Terraform or equivalent.
