Senior Frontend Developer

This position will report directly to a Tech Lead while working together with important stakeholders from throughout the company to address the most pressing technical issues.

Overview

• Optimising website performance and making improvements to the user interaction of our applications and internal system’s dashboard.
• Redesigning tech look & e-commerce platform, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how our applications will function and look.
• Share your knowledge with teammates through tech talks, workshops, and other avenues.
• Provide mentorship for fellow team members.
• Research, propose, and promote new approaches to work, tooling, and standards for the team.
• We are in the midst of developing more mobile-first tools to enhance customer experience. Your contribution and ownership will be key!

Skills Valued

• Strong knowledge of the following technologies: JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, CSS Preprocessors (Sass, Less) with 3 years of working experience.
• Great logic, problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate often with other developers (using a Version Control System, preferably GIT) to write code that’s easy to understand, maintain and test.
• Crazy strong ownership towards the platforms/products you develop.
• Able to work independently, coming up with new solutions while mentoring junior developers.
• Fast-paced, loves an ever-changing environment, high sense of urgency.
• Autonomy and self-sufficiency. Who can become a lead later – someone who asks questions
