The Company

A well known tech startup in the market for the past 6 years has seen some significant expansions from their inception and have become a popular mobile and web application in the fintech industry. They are now once again looking to expand and are seeking a subject matter expert to work with the current React.JS platform.

The Role

As a Senior Web Developer in React.Js reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will:

• Develop the React.Js platform and integrate with REST API’s provided by the backend team.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code and take ownership of the web frontend.
• Use your innovative skills,
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and follow best practices
• You will build automated tests for the React.JS platform
• lead projects and serve as resources for the rest of the team,
• Improve and modularise the tech team
• Supervise junior developers and conduct code reviews before production

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will be a Web Developer who has:

• 4 years PQE in web development
• At least 1 year in React.JS
• Proven track record of leadership and management skills
• Ability to conduct performance monitoring and improving performance on a code level
• Automated testing for frontend systems
• Architect tech systems
• Leadership and management skills
• Experience with working on integration and deployment systems
