Job Vacancy – Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Developing software solutions according to requirements and design
• Perform software application maintenance, development, testing & debugging assignments
• Develop and test software in accordance with design requirements
• Working independently and collaborate closely in team to deliver high quality of products
• Produce project or product related documentation
• Working closely with colleagues to provide solution in the event of critical software issue
• Share engineering support, release and on-call supervision
• Conducts thorough problem analysis in regards to technical system, proposes problem resolution
• Able to lead in a project (case to case basis) from definition to implementation; ability to manage resources in a manner that project is verifiably accurate and on schedule
• Critically reviews programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with established departmental guidelines, policies and best practices
• Performs internal acceptance testing and program implementation for assigned systems and/or projects
• Practicing daily meeting for progress update
• Tune up design for maintainability, scalability and efficiency from time to time
• Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms (depending requirements)
• Provides technical assistance as required to professional team
• Conduct knowledge sharing among internal team

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems/Software Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• 3-5 years or more of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Familiar with APIs, EF, MSSQL Backend (SaaS, PaaS, LaaS is a Plus)
• Experience in the financial industry would be highly preferred.
• Preferable candidate with working experience in IT project implementation.
• Work well in a team environment, providing support to business users and technical staff
• Have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and end users
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work at client side within the KL area.
