My Universes are… family and technology. I lead an enthusiastic and vibrant team in the Kuala Lumpur office. As for family, I always remember the importance of technology, which connects us to those who reside closest to our hearts i.e. family, friends, colleagues, leaders, mentors, and loved ones. I believe in the importance of connecting people and technology in a digital world.
How can you add value to our clients and candidates?
With over 15 years of experience recruiting in Malaysia, I believe I built a deep understanding of what’s important to my clients and candidates. Clients have often commented on my ability to really interpret their unique and specific requirements blending both the technical and non-technical skills and competencies to identify the right candidates. This is crucial in technology where clients are putting greater emphasis on more than just the technical capability. This equally applies with candidates, where I am able to help them grasp what the role is all about, and ensure they are comfortable and satisfied with the opportunity and the organisation, so they transition successfully.
What fictional family would you be a member of?
Would you rather be able to run at 100 miles per hour or fly at 10 miles per hour? RUN, RUN, RUN! If I can run at 100mph (160.93km/h), it means I am able to run at 30mph (48.28km/h), and that is all I need. From my home to work, it’s around 30miles (48.28km) and it takes an hour by car. I can cut my travelling time to just 11.5 minutes, isn’t that great? Plus, I’ll be like the Road Runner.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Air hostess, so I can travel around the world for free…
TV shows I love to binge watch are… I’m currently watching Workin’ Moms and Indian Matchmaking.
Fun fact about me… A superstitious belief “bite your shoe before it bites you” — invest in a new pair of shoes. This has worked for me for many years. 😊
