Introducing Bruce Fong, Principal Consultant, Technology, Singapore

My universe is… Technology and as a member of the Tech Perm team, I recruit within IT Infrastructure, IT Security, PM/BAs, Trading technologies, and Quants.

How can you add value to our clients and candidates?
I bring with me 12 years of high-touch, consultative executive search experience covering Technology within Financial Services, coupled with 8 years of technical and commercial work experience. On top of connecting talent, I try to bring out my consultative flare whether it’s providing market titbits to clients or helping candidates ace their interviews.

What fictional family would you be a member of?
X-Men (apparently, I can read minds and levitate quite easily).

What sport would you compete in if you were in the Olympics?
I might have been a professional tennis player if I did not lose my application form to play in the Olympics (in my dreams).

If you could have the power of teleportation right now, where would you go and why?
I can already levitate and you want me to also teleport? Wouldn’t I have too many talents? If I could teleport right now, I would drink in Tuscany and stuff my face with cheeses.

I’m currently reading… The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.

Fun fact about me… In my free time, I research and adapt recipes to make desserts, cakes, cookies, and sweets; and I eat them all (sometimes I share with others).
