We have never worked on a nonsense project since our inception and are always looking for ‘stuff that matters’. So don’t expect temporary campaign sites or ‘disposable productions’. We work on

Design in our DNA

Design thinking principles are of great importance to us. It starts with understanding how it works & how to solve the problem in a very targeted way. By fully understanding this, you can use your front-end skills to translate your ideas into great design.

Love a diversity of productions and clients. This keeps us sharp and that makes the work interesting. We are looking for someone who enjoys diving into a whole new world in every project. Make it your own and do something new and improved. It can be a challenge, but we like it.

Yes, that can be stressful at times. But how good does it feel when we finally do get it done? We regularly opt for the path unknown. That puts us on edge and that’s how we move forward.

Bring it on

We like to lead. Give us the problem and we’ll come up with the solution. We do that together with the client of course, but we really make it our problem too. A sense of responsibility ensures that the client entrusts us with all the freedom in the world.

Our front-end philosophy

A solid digital tool is self-explanatory. Whether it is an application, product or website. We create applications that are easy to use on our front-end dev side.

Seat at the table

To be able to do your work as a front-ender, you have to be in the room. You need first-hand information, no broken telephone. You therefore always have direct contact with the

client. From the very beginning. And when it matters.

Team

Making a good product is difficult. For that you need different experts who work together. That won’t work optimally when you outsource projects to India. We work from A to Z with an in-house team. A team with the same knowledge and mission takes the product to the next level. We communicate directly, short lines. Do you have a more efficient solution for a feature? This will be discussed as the team.

No outsourcing

We are not an outsourcer. To do a good job, you need a seriously good team. We want you to be part of our team. That won’t help if we don’t get to see you for half a year if you are working at a client’s office.

Your contribution to the team

In weekly front-end meetings and a monthly Academy we take a critical look at developments in the market. But also our own work processes. We make strategic plans to further optimise our stack in the short & long term. Your contribution to this is of great importance to us!

Flexible and working from home

If you ensure that you are in control and accessible to your colleagues at times when needed, a lot is possible. Working from home can also be a part of your day-to-day post covid. The office becomes a hub where you can work together, brainstorm, we also organise office parties and much more.

Playground

We think we should keep playing. Because that’s where it started for us: that mess with

that old Commodore 64, that first PHP tinkering, that strange JavaScript game that never quite worked perfectly fine in IE4.5 on the Mac. We want to keep playing because that’s how new ideas emerge. Like our Dog feeder, a democratic radio station & solutions that we will definitely use in our next projects.

Grow

The ball is in your court to determine your goals. Sometimes that can be quite difficult. That’s why we help you with that.

Location

We like to be right in the middle of the action. That’s why you can find our office on Keizersgracht in

Amsterdam (and not in an industrial area).

Your colleagues

If we hire you, we have all the confidence in you. You are the one that will make it happen. But of course, our front-end colleagues give good guidance and collaborate with you. They have tons of experience, you can always contact them, whatever question you have.

Everything perfect?

In our work, things don’t always go as planned. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. That is inevitable. It’s about how we solve it together. We are proud of how we help each other.

We ensure some stability in these crazy times by offering at least a year contract. We will make sure you get set up properly. If possible face to face and where necessary via Teams.
