Role: Product Manager B2C – Warranty and Maintenance

The automotive industry is changing very rapidly, and this is the time to get on the moving train. We are now looking for a Product Manager B2C – Warranty and Maintenance for our client’s Amsterdam HQ. As part of the product team you will contribute to create the most trusted eCommerce platform for customers to acquire & sell vehicles in a surprisingly seamless & transparent way by shifting the entire organisations mindset to online, driven by customer needs.
As our Product Manager you will be responsible to build and execute the digital product strategy for car warranty and maintenance and will drive continuous optimisation’s.
What you will be doing as our Product Manager B2C – Warranty and Maintenance:
Driving the multi-disciplinary team around your topic;
Analyse the market, competitors, for your product;
Interacts with customers to represent requirements and understand key customer needs and market basics;
Execute defined product strategy, and optimise it over time using external and internal learnings;
Focusing on keeping the customer at the heart of all data-driven decision making;
Balance qualitative and quantitative research to validate your assumptions;
Work together with internal procurement, legal, commercial, compliance teams;
Drive product launches in your responsible category;
Carry out ongoing monitoring on your product commercial performance;
Agile approach to product development;
Accountable in conjunction with the Category product lead, for the end-to-end product performance.
What do we think you need to be successful in this role?
5+ years of commercial and growth product manager experience for digital products
Knowledge of Car Warranty and Maintenance is ideal – how it works, how to explain clearly to customers and how to up-sell
Experience in building digital products
E-commerce experience is an advantage
Business Consultancy background is an advantage
Knowledge of key technologies and softwares (JIRA, Confluence, Zeplin, Slack, Tableau, Asana, Microsoft Office) is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
Excellent presentation skills
Comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced start-up
Good experience working within a cross functional product team
You are self-motivated, humble, and eager to contribute
