QA Engineer

Netherlands Permanent Negotiable

As a QA engineer, you are responsible for testing all deliverables of the Development team from end to end, maintaining test automation scripts, and ensuring the quality of all the infrastructure components and dependencies.

Experience Needed:

  • You have relevant education on HBO/academic level OR work experience showing professional and intellectual capacities at HBO/academic level
  • ISTQB or TMAP certification is a plus
  • You have hands-on experience with testing Web applications and API’s
  • You have strong knowledge with one of the following test automation frameworks WebdriverIO, Cypress.io, Protractor or similar
  • You are proficient with working with API clients like POSTMAN, SOAPUI or JMeter
  • You have experience with at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript)
  • You are familiar with Git and CLI
  • You are familiar with SQL and Databases
  • You are familiar with CI/CD and release management
  • You have experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders whilst taking full ownership of all activities within your scope

You will also be responsible for:

  • Writing test cases that will drive both manual and automated tests
  • Processing test results, identifying and reporting bugs and feature improvements
  • Liaising with product managers, UX designers, and developers to accurately understand the systems and produce effective test execution
  • Writing and maintaining test automation
