Accountant

Led by a team of passionate “go get-em” guys this export business has grown from strength to strength. These trading experts specialise in marketing and distribution of high-quality meat and animal proteins from New Zealand, Australia, and South America. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to look after the day-to-day accounting function for the business while working alongside the external chartered accountant.

Your responsibilities will include

• Daily management and reconciliation in Xero
• Monthly and yearly reconciliations
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Payroll
• Cash forecasting
• International Payments – Foreign Trade / International banking
• Trading loans management
• FX Contracts and letters of credit
• Assist external chartered accountant for EOY accounts

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Accountant/Bookkeeper who is self-motivated and flexible. Ideally you will have worked in a small business, have excellent attention to detail, intermediate Excel, and a good working knowledge of Xero.
