ABOUT THE COMPANY

This high performing agency, based in Napier is a recognised leader in Debt Collection and Credit Management Industries. They are a well-established business with a fast paced and dynamic working environment. They are continuing to grow and develop their business and are presently on the lookout for an experienced Collections Manager to play an active role in their leadership team driving strategy forward.

ABOUT THE ROLE

With plenty of growth in the business the role offers challenge and opportunity daily. You will report to the CEO and have 5 direct reports overseeing a wider team of about 30. Leading, coaching, training, and supporting your team, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the process of retrieving money owed to clients.
• Ensure compliance is adhered to according to company policies.
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation governing debt collections and ensure employees receive training.
• Identify areas of training and process improvement and implementing enhanced process.
• Develop strong relationships with key clients and manage the operational client meetings.
• Contribute to company strategy and board reporting.

WHAT YOU NEED

You will have at least five years’ experience in a Collections management role with a good understanding of credit and debit management and related legislation. With a passion for process improvement, you will commercially savvy individual with strong people management experience
