Credit Controller

This NZ-owned, well-established finance company is undergoing exciting growth and positive changes across its business. They are looking for 2-3 experienced B2C (Business to Consumer) Credit Controllers to join their team. They pride themselves on putting their ‘customer first’. This is a small team that strives to make a difference in people’s lives by providing the best in service.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Based in Greenlane, you will report to the Risk & Compliance Manager. Day to day you will be responsible for the credit-control of overdue loans and the following:

• Provide a customer-focused solutions approach to credit control
• Adhere to credit management policies, systems, and procedures
• Maintenance of customer credit and collection activities
• Preparation of reports and recommendations for provisions for bad debts
• Communication with internal staff to ensure effective cash flow management

WHAT YOU NEED

You will have experience in a credit control or collections role in a business-to-customer/consumer environment. If you had experience in the finance industry, that would be a bonus. You will need to be a solutions-focused person who enjoys customer contact, you are IT savvy, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a head for numbers.
