If you love numbers and people, this is the role for you! You will be a part of a HR Team of 3 where you will provide the invaluable payroll and HR administration support. We are looking for someone that can work full working days on a Wednesday and Friday and a half day on a Thursday. We are looking for someone with flexibility to work the occasional Monday/Tuesday when required to ensure deadlines are met.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
· Preparation and approval of outsourced payroll each week in Datacom system
· Management of both weekly and monthly payroll
· Liaison with external Payroll provider
· Checking and sign off of the final payroll
· Answering internal queries by Managers and staff including ACC and IRD
· Job share with HR Administrator
· Some account reconciliations for finance

A high-profile international business within the wholesale electrical industry this company has branches spanning New Zealand from Far North to the Far South. The tenure of the team is impressive, and you will enjoy a friendly professional work environment.
You will have several years of Payroll experience under your belt and a good working legislation (e.g.: Holidays act). Good communication skills both verbal and written are crucial as is your attention to detail and deadline driven attitude. Any accounts or administration experience would be highly regarded.
