Pricing Operations Analyst

The company is based in Newmarket and are at an exciting time of change. They now require a dynamic Pricing Operations Analyst to join their Customer Pricing Operations team

About the role:

Reporting to the Customer Pricing Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the technical data functions and provide analytical support to the Pricing Strategy Team to enable the wider business to make well informed pricing decisions. Your duties will include:

• Maintaining pricing information for internal customers
• Gathering and maintaining lines pricing information
• Formulating price plans and tariffs
• Working with a cross-functional team Implementing price changes
• Performing pricing analysis for internal customers
• Assist with monthly reporting and monitor report quality

What you will need to have:

• A tertiary qualification in a discipline relating to data and numerical analysis is desirable
• Advanced MS Excel and exposure to SAS Enterprise and SAP
• Experience with handling a significant volume of information and/or mass data manipulation and analysis
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex issues through to resolution
• Relevant experience and knowledge of the electricity would be advantageous
• Energy, a positive and engaging approach with the ability to use data to paint a picture for decision makers
