Our client is looking for a Lead UX designer to join their large team based in Auckland CBD.

Day to day you will be working in the apps team as Lead UX designer, getting stuck into some juicy design challenges and are encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table.

Being part of the apps channel working in a cross functional team, you’ll be leading the innovation of the product alongside a friendly project manager and engineer. Whilst working in the apps team you will also be expected to keep the brand experience in line with existing and new products across the rest of the business.

Culture and collaboration are especially important to this company and will continue to surprise you with their generosity and willingness to support. You will need to align with their core values as a business and have a genuine care for the people you work with.

To be successful you will have;

  • 5+ years as a product designer or 2+ Lead UX designer
  • Previous experience strategising and owning the design of a product
  • Experience in lean UX practices and HCD for complex software products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player and willing to share useful feedback with colleagues
  • A drive to stay up to date with latest trends and welcomes feedback and constructive criticism
  • Ability to visualise complex systems, user interaction flows, and design optimum interfaces that are reusable and scalable
