Senior Product Designer

Our client, a large enterprise, are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join growing team full time.

On a day to day basis you will be working with cross functional teams to improve the customers experience on various products and services, both new and existing.

You will be responsible for the holistic view of the product or service you are working on taking it from conception through to completion using quantitative data insights to contribute to the overall design as well as creating new artefacts including user-flows, wire-framing, mock-ups, prototypes etc. You will also be liaising with other departments and designers to ensure the overall look at feel of your product is consistent and in line with other experiences being delivered.

This company are on a mission to change the way their customers experience their brand and an exciting time to become part of the team! They are well known for a supportive work environment and promoting from within.

This is a full time position due to start ASAP, open to applications from Auckland or Wellington.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • 6+ years in experience or product design
  • Ability to shape the look and feel of product ensuring consistency and simplicity
  • Knowledge of user-centred design, usability principles, HCD and techniques.
  • Previous experience in developing documentation, flowcharts ,layouts diagrams and charts.
  • Self starter attitude, motivational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ambition to jump in and hit the ground running
