UX Strategist & Researcher

Our client, one of New Zealand’s best loved brands, is looking for a Senior UX researcher and strategist on a short-term contract (approx. 3 months) to help shape the users experience.

On a day to day basis you will be working closely with designers, engineers, product managers, and other disciplines to design, implement, and track the success of projects. You will design and conduct research studies to derive meaningful and actionable insights about the users’ needs, attitudes, behaviours, pain points and preference.

Reporting to the friendly Head of UX you will also be fully supported by a larger team of UX specialists.

To be successful in this role you will need;

• Over 7+ Years in a strategic design or user research.
• Experience developing clear views of users (personas, journeys, JTBD)
• Ability to lead, design and facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with cross functional teams.
• Have significant experience developing strategic options and recommendations that triangulate user needs, business needs and technical possibility.
• Clear communication skills.
• Critical thinking abilities, solid problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• A degree in a relevant discipline.
