Our client is the Chair of the Board for an International Television Broadcasters Network group. It is a not-for-profit organisation and comprises of an alliance of Indigenous broadcasters from multiple countries around the world. Their vision is to preserve and promote Indigenous languages and cultures worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Executive Project Co-ordinator to support the Chair for a contract period of 12-months. You will be the central support function for the International Networks Board and member organisations. The role will cover all administrative functions on behalf of the Chair from managing correspondence to coordinating projects and activities across the organisation. The role offers variety, responsibility, and ownership. Your responsibilities will include
· Facilitating collaboration and communication between members enabling the sharing and distribution of world indigenous content
· Providing support to the board in developing and implementing their strategic plan
· Organising meetings, workshops, and events
· Preparing meeting agendas, taking/distributing minutes and providing administrative support to the Board
· Undertaking research and collating information providing insights to the board
· Building strategic relationships with indigenous and non-indigenous media organisations internationally
ABOUT YOU
You’ll be a down-to-earth go-getter who takes a proactive approach and prides themselves on their efficiency and exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
You will be a good fit for this role if you have:
· Experience supporting and working at Executive/Board level
· Had an alignment with indigenous networks/languages (whether in roles, association, or experience)
· Advanced relationship management skills that enable you to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and disciplines
· Exceptional organisational skills with ability to work across multiple platforms and multitask
· Ability to manage your time and take ownership of what is required
Although the role is standard office hours there may be the odd occasion you will need to cater for international time differences.
