Ready for your next step? This is a great opportunity for a motivated, ambitious Business Developer/Hunter to join this NZ owned business. Proudly part of NZ’s largest Supply Chain collaboration they are passionate about what they have created and continue to shape the future of freight forwarding in the areas moving cargo locally and internationally. You will look after the local NZ market providing coastal, import and export solutions. Day to day you would be responsible for the following:
· Identify, prospect and secure new customers within the Coastal, Import & Export channels
· Maintain and build solid business partnerships with existing customers
· Quoting on opportunities and maintenance of customer tariffs
· Generate, analyse and produce customer reporting and tracking
· Owning and driving cross-functional alignment and delivery to meet customer needs

About you
You are self-motivated, driven and focussed on success and achieving goals. You have a proven track record in business development/sales with top-notch listening and communication skills. A minimum of 3 years’ sales experience ideally from a freight forwarding, import/export, shipping or FMCG background.
