Sales Consultant – Retail Flooring

Our client is a three generation, highly successful family run flooring business based in Albany. They need a showroom-based sale consultant to help their steady stream of customers choose the right flooring for their tastes and needs.

You will support the customer in their journey from first step in the showroom to their first step on their new floor. You will feel great about the work as you will be representing an extensive range of high-quality products to homeowners and even the odd specifier, designer and tradie.

What will you do:

• Ensure beautiful presentation of the showroom
• Offer a warm welcome and helpful guidance to choose the most practical products for customers need, and the colours and textures that will bring beauty to their home
• Work closely with other team members especially quantifiers who will ensure the right measures and cuts – to prepare quotes
• Co-ordinating the project with the customer all the way till the flooring is laid, ensuring they know the status of the delivery and installation and you know how their project at home is tracking.
• Working Monday to Friday, and one Saturday a month
