About the role

My client is a leader in credit management and spearheads the way in providing terms of trade to ensure businesses have the right documentation in place to be protected against debtors and business disputes. As a Contracts Team Leader, this role offers variation and would suit someone who is looking to take their knowledge and experience in the contract legal field and step into a new challenge.

From providing advice on terms of trade and reviewing contracts to managing a team, you will be a hands-on leader driven by continuous improvement and be capable of designing and implementing new processes that improve operations.

A proven relationship builder, you will have great customer service at the heart of your work and experience in managing and growing relationships alongside negotiating with clients to achieve positive outcomes.

• Take ownership of the contracts team
• Providing advice on and drafting Terms of Trade
• Reviewing contracts and agreements with key stakeholders
• Process improvement

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a legal executive or contract law role
• A people leader who has managed a team
• A solid understanding of contract law in New Zealand and Australia
• Proven experience in building and managing stakeholder relationships
• Demonstratable implementation of process improvement
