About the role
We have a great opportunity working for a highly respected NZ owned company that distributes a range of medical equipment and consumables to healthcare professionals. They are now on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join their Purchasing team. Looking after a category of products you will be responsible for all aspects of purchasing and stock management in order to have the right stock in the right place at the right time. A methodical and analytical thinker you will have the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies and find solutions.
To be successful in the role you’ll need
· Strong purchasing/ inventory experience
· International shipping experience/understanding of freight forwarding an advantage but not essential
· Outstanding communication skills
· Excellent time management to manage a busy workload
· A sense of urgency and display loads of initiative
