Data Engineer

I am working with a leading Kiwi brand to find a Data Engineer with experience of cloud technology and big data. The company is regarded as one of the best to work for in New Zealand, with brand new offices, clear career progression and great benefits. The role is business wide and particularly focused on data migration and modelling.

This role is based in Central Auckland or Central Hamilton

In order to be considered for the position you will have:

– Experience within data analytics, using SQL.

-Experience of Cloud technologies ideally Azure or AWS

– Any knowledge of big data tools or development languages would be a strong advantage

– Strong communication skills, particularly when producing and presenting insights to a variety of stakeholders

– Knowledge of Data Visualisation tools and experience with PowerBI

– Hands on experience organising and analysing data as a key function of your role

– The ability to manage large volumes of data and work on multiple complex projects

-Experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
