DevOps Engineer (Senior & Intermediate)

The role

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform/ Infrastructure as Code in AWS
• Part of a talented DevOps/ SRE Team responsible for building reliable and scalable cloud services
• Communicate & work with internal and external teams & with customers to optimize the use of technology
• Explore new developments and new ways of delivering software- stay on top of your DevOps game
• Work in an AWS environment.
• Use code/ scripts to build automated & scalable infrastructure and work closely with the developers
• Work on the continuous improvement of development pipelines
• Environment includes: AWS, Redis, SQL, Cloud storage, Elastic Search, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Docker, Node.js, Terraform, Vault & Consul
• Be on-call on roster- this will allow for a healthy work life balance, but you will need to do your bit

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent experience in deploying , configuring, monitoring and supporting distributed production and non-production systems in a cloud environment, ideally AWS
• Passion for & experience in DevOps, including containerization tools such as Docker & Kubernetes, in a Linux environment
• Experience with infrastructure as a code, automation, CICD to manage and optimise the delivery of software
• Experience with Terraform, Vault, Prometheus, EKS or similar cloud first tools
• Hands on commercial experience in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, Bash/ Ash and/or Go.
