Front End Developer (React)

The role:

• Lead the technical design of front end systems and participate in design review.
• Work with the design team to create effective, interactive, responsive & accessible interfaces.
• Use React Native to develop the Front End.
• Establish & encourage use of best practice in front end development to create a product that is reliable and scalable.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest in front end technology, with a view towards creating the best product ever.
• Mentor other engineers and enable knowledge-sharing.
• Communicate effectively in the team and cross teams as well.

The ideal candidate:

• You are a big thinker who understands the big picture. You love programming and code for what it can do and are someone who loves to learn continually.
• Front-end is your thing! You would have worked on the Front End for at least five years, which would include modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with building interactive, single page applications is a must,
• React, Redux/ React Native are the tools of your trade and you have hands-on commercial experience with React.
• We are looking for someone who has had at least 2 years of experience with a complex front end application that has gone to production.
• React Native/ mobile development experience is a real plus.
