Scrum Master 12m FTC

Awesome long-term 12 months fixed-term contract Scrum Master role, based in Wellington, in one of the most exciting and booming areas of the social sector.

I am looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join an organisation defining the future.

You will be part of ICT capability, contributing to Agile transformation, facilitating understanding of the Scrum framework by helping teams to adopt Agile mindset as well as supporting the development of their unique Agile flavour and delivering products increments.

Working with a one or two Scrum Teams, helping them to create velocity, maximise the value they deliver and ensure expedient usage of Agile project management software (JIRA, Trello), you will also support the rest of organisation to interact collaboratively.

You will participate, lead and coach teams in sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, product backlog refinement, product backlog, definition of done.

To be successfully this role you must bring:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Professional Scrum Master within a complex environment with teams that are fairly new to Agile.
• Scrum certification.
• Ability to champion adherence to consistent application of the Scrum Framework.
• Exceptional communicators who know how to introduce Agile within a large team, good in conflict resolution and negotiation and influencing and facilitating key discussions.
• The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring the Scrum framework is understood and enacted. Scrum Master does this by ensuring that the Scrum Team executes Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
• Proven experience in Coaching with demonstrated ability to teach, inspire and motivate people to change their values and practices.
