6-months contract Senior Business Analyst

This contract is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst, which will take you through to the Q2 of the next year. You will join a sizeable renowned company, industry-leader and one of our long-term customers, based in Central Auckland. We are ideally looking for someone with extensive service delivery and business process design background, preferably within the Utilities or Energy space.

• 6-month contract with a possibility of extension
• a business-critical transformational project
• GIS component of Advanced Distribution Management system – control room of the future

You will be responsible for:

• Processes mapping and design to make changes/improvements or evaluate their efficiency,
• Capturing and validating requirements, creating epics and user stories,
• Undertaking document investigation to define document inputs and outputs required at each Programme gateway,
• improving understanding and communication between stakeholders,‍
• identifying new ADMS system enhancements to meet the future state,
• Develop workshop agendas and support materials to support the processes and ensure correct inputs and value outcomes to drive the workshops and the next stage processes.

Requirements:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst on complex projects within large organisations;
• Utilities /Energy industry and GIS experience is highly appreciated;
• Strong at designing business processes, building process diagrams as well as exposure to technical design;
• Experience in Service Delivery;
• Excellent communicator, high EQ;
• Extensive experience with Jira;
• Availability ASAP or within 2 weeks’ time;
• NZ visa allowing you to contract or residency.
