Technical Lead- Development

Excellent permanent career opportunity for a technical lead , with experience in development in several languages, We are looking for a true polyglot with languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.

The role:

• Exciting role in a start-up environment
• Technical leadership & hands on
• Hands-on full stack development is an essential part of this role
• Design and architecture is an important part of this role
• Latest technology & Devops practices- cloud environment
• Flexible work environment, with some WFH
• Based in the CBD

The ideal candidate

• Will be an experienced and passionate full stack software engineer, with technical leadership experience
• Strong commercial cloud experience is essential, with AWS, Azure or GCP, with certification. Serverless experience is an advantage.
• Experience with design and architecture
• Will have a strong business understanding and the ability to communicate with internal and external teams
• Agile experience will be a huge plus
• Polyglot with experience on as many of the following as possible- Java, modern JavaScript such as React, Node, Python
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and ideally big data
• DevOps experience, ideally Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience in an agile environment
• You love to stay hands on on development, but like to provide direction on the technical side.
• Innately curious, you always explore ways of improving the ways in which software is developed and deployed
