Technical Project Manager- Contract or fixed term

The role:

• Part of a national programme, technically managing a project with cycles of implementation of Oracle ERP
• Planning day to day activities of partners and teams
• Managing integrations, End user reporting, deployment and support
• Make test plans & strategies for user testing and implement these
• Strong technical, communication and project management skills required
• Reports to the overall Project Manager
• Based in Penrose
• This can be either a fixed term contract or an hourly rate
• Will be focused on user testing and will involve a large number of users. The candidate will have the personality and ability to relate to the users and their requirements
• Will need to coordinate large groups of people and front discussions, for which excellent communication skills and the ability to take a stance will be important
• Fixed term contract- 10 to 12 months
• Work closely with Change lead & the Project Manager

The ideal candidate:

• 7 + years of experience in Project Management, including ERP projects, ideally Oracle
• ERP testing experience, ideally in Oracle or with any other large ERP
• Strong understanding of IT project life cycles
• Experience managing large, complex projects involving integration
• Excellent communication & technical skills in integration & ERP
• Results oriented, pragmatic & able to manage multiple releases and tight deadlines
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Availability in Auckland and the right to work in NZ
• Ideally able to start right away but could wait a bit fir the right candidate if absolutely necessary
