Recruiter and Business Developer – Austin TX

After Salt’s success in The Big Apple, we expanded to the up-and-coming city of Austin, TX! A location booming with technology, exciting start-up companies plus the big players – you will walk past Amazon and Google when you’re downtown! The city is filled with outdoor activities, the most amazing food from independent businesses (not a lot of chains in Austin!), everywhere is dog friendly and, to top it off, Austin is named the “Live Music Capital”. With offices in the heart of Downtown, you will be around the buzzing environment of Austin! We will be celebrating your wins – big and small. Think, boat trips, rooftop sunset drinks, dinners at the best restaurants (Perry’s Odd Duck and ATX Cocina have been previous celebration spots!)

The role

The reason for our growth, we specialize in all things Digital: (Creative, Marketing, Sales, Technology). These markets are not going anywhere – they are growing! And so are we. Due to success in the US, we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant and Business Developer to join the Austin team. You will be instrumental in our growth across the USA – maybe another location is on your horizon? We have offices in New York and soon the West Coast!

No experience is necessary – we look for the right attitude! You will have a strong motivation to be successful and also have a can-do attitude! You’re in charge of your own commission, you can write your own paycheck with us!

  • Be an expert at identifying technical talent for clients
  • Build a universe of digital candidates and clients
  • End to end recruitment process – sourcing, screening, through to post placement follow up
  • Act as a mentor, leader and brand ambassador both internally and externally

What we are looking for

  • Previous sales experience, knowledge on technology is a bonus but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Drive to be successful and a motivated individual
