Maternity cover- 12 month FTC 

Salt are looking for a Marketing Manager who wants to take the next step in their career. The role is on a 12-months maternity cover basis for Salt, the leading global digital recruitment agency, based in the HQ in London Waterloo. We have built a strong brand and have a community of 800,000 candidates and 250,000 followers on social media. Our international network of 11 offices support clients in every geography across a wide range of sectors.

You will be responsible for delivering (together with the rest of the team) and managing a multi-channel B2B and B2C marketing strategy with a strong focus on website, SEO, and brand development.

You have management responsibility for a global marketing team of 5, and report directly into the CEO. Strategy

Overseeing the team in the delivery and management of the annual marketing strategy across all 8 countries (events, content, social media campaigns, email campaigns etc.)

Budget responsibility for marketing spend (UK, US, UAE)

Management of external agencies and contractors to ensure alignment to strategy and cost-effective delivery (SEO and Website development)

Brand development and guardian of consistent corporate identity, decision-maker on artwork and design

Advise and support the team in selecting suitable partnerships, events, sponsorship opportunities, awards to build the company’s profile

Ensure customer journey is smooth and provides enough interaction and conversion points

Make sure all marketing activities are tracked and show ROI for the business

 

Website and SEO

Management of website and delivery of improvement projects (with web developer and team)

Work closely with web developer and SEO agency on website projects (WordPress)

 

Internal communication and reporting

Monthly internal reporting for board and management meetings

Own internal communication to promote the marketing team’s activity and achievements

Coordinate quarterly launch presentation for each country with Graphic Designer

 

Desired capabilities and skills:

You are delivery and output focused and able to multitask, have a high proficiency in Microsoft office and great attention to detail. Knowledge of tools like project management software (trello), WordPress, email automation, and social media management are desirable.

You are proactive, communicative and can manage upwards when working with Directors and senior team members and know how to build great relationships.
