Salt is hiring a Legal Administrator to assist the Finance & Treasury team execute the legal documentation work and support the statutory and regulatory compliance processes within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain corporate documents, internal databases and related records and support administration activities.
Perform regular corporate tasks, including daily tracking of documents and routing documents for signature and distribution, document filing, and data organization.
Coordinate with cross functional partners (XFN’s), both internal and external to effectively deliver executed legal documentation.
Support the timely completion of the statutory and regulatory compliance processes, following up on all outstanding matters and/or queries.
Contribute to design and implementation of process improvements for the benefit of the corporate legal team and XFN partners.
Coordinate signature requests, arrange for notarizing and legalization of documents.
Coordinate and follow-up on status with internal and external notaries, as well as external apostille service providers.
Liaise with other internal departments, counsels and company secretarial service providers.
Manage the vendor billing process and onboarding matters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Have at least 1-2 years’ paralegal/company secretarial experience in a busy law practice, in-house corporate secretarial department OR minimum of 5 years general administration experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
Previous experience in managing international corporate matters (in Singapore or APAC) as a secretary/paralegal within a legal department is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
Have an interest in being part of building an international practice; and
Have a strong academic background, excellent communication, organizational and attention to detail skills.
Organized and extremely diligent with desire for continuous improvement.
Excellent computer and analytical skills (MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel), Outlook, Google suite and Diligent software) and an interest in improving processes through IT.
Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
