Salt Talent Search is looking for Media Analyst for 12 months extendable contract role.
Requirements:
You will work with comms team to turn the data about news stories, owned channels and social-media mentions into local, regional and global insights.
As an analyst on Measurement & Insights you’ll have a proven understanding of building databases and creating insights with SQL or Sheets Query Language, know how to analyze data and create engaging charts with Sheets. Knowledge of Google Data Studio and Google Analytics would be a plus.
You’ll manage comms to our PR agencies to ensure they’re working from the latest and best guidance, and make sure they’re following the best practices for accuracy and relevance of measurement.
You’ll work with global teams to ensure our regional data meets global quality standards and conforms to our expectations of what it works.
You’ll advise our communications managers on how to use our data to inform their strategy and show the impact of our work using in-house dashboards, third-party data and data from other functions.
What Will You Need:
one year of experience handling and deriving insights from data using standard data tools. A track record of quickly learning new data tools.
Knowledge of SQL query language for both building data sets and deriving insights from them and Google Sheets/Excel.
Fluent English speaker.
Ability to work with multiple kinds of stakeholder, spanning both data-centric measurement experts and creative comms people.
