Design Project Manager

Our client – a global company pioneering housing and bathware products is in search for a Regional Design Project Manager (with industrial design background) to join their growing industrial design team in Asia.

The company is operating in more than 140 countries worldwide and over 50,000 employees, having expanded internationally by acquiring some of the most trusted names in our industry.

You will be part of a regional industrial design team and oversee all design related projects/ activities. You will attend important design/ business meetings, coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams to maintain design intent and strategy alignment.

You possess an influential power when collaborating across different team and stakeholder. Meticulous in in your blood when comes to details to ensure the timely creation and delivery of all necessary technical documents to facilitate the new products’ development. Enjoy independency to ensure all deliverables represent the highest level of quality and reliability attainable. Working and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams to maintain design intent and strategy alignment to manage the appropriate allocation of design resources to ensure that design projects meet current objectives, schedules, and budgets. If you have very good knowledge of design, product development processes and have good knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and engineering processes and you are proficient in Mandarin that could be your advantage when to liaise with vendors based in China.
