This global creative agency is part of a 1,500 strong network across the world – one of the fastest growing within a well-known Creative Group.

You will work on one of the world’s leading automotive brands. You’ll introduce and apply expert art direction to all visual elements of creative projects, ensuring a high standard of execution across all media, campaigns, and new business pitches. You will take ownership of visual work on the projects you’re assigned, including reviewing the work of designers and providing direction and feedback. Within the team, you’ll set a high bar in both craft and character and guide your juniors to reach it.

More About the role

· You will produce strong concepts that nail the brief; whether they’re for integrated campaigns or platform-specific work

· You create high quality designs with a strong focus on digital media and some print media

· You uncover new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns

· Quality control, ensuring that all output maintains a high standard and complies with brand guidelines

· Report to the Creative Director, you will work closely with a wider team, mentoring juniors and overseeing their output

About you

Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for visual details and accuracy, and a passion for advertising and commercial art. You love to brainstorm and create strong visual concepts in tandem with copy. You are resilient enough to perform under pressure and flexible enough to adapt your ideas to the needs of clients.

You pride yourself on your craft and have a deep understanding of the need for brand consistency. You possess a strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration, and animation, have a broad understanding of marketing design and layout, and are able to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and visual concepts. Both clients and colleagues alike are inspired by the fresh, inventive work you produce. You are confident enough to explain and support your thinking, with a willingness to learn – you believe in teamwork and constructive criticism to produce the best possible output as a team.

• You have at least 5 years of agency experience leading projects for global brands at the Art Director level.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, (and perhaps also Sketch, and Figma would be nice to have)
• A deep understanding of digital and social media
• Top-notch leadership skills to lead world class creative projects for global brands, and mentor junior designers.
