SALT Talent is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join the leading Technology Client in Singapore on a renewable contract role (12-month & upwards). The Employee Relations Specialist report into the Asia-Pacific HR Business Advisory lead and will work closely in partnership with the HR Business Advisors on ER matters for all locations in Asia-Pacific.
Job Responsibility:
Act as an escalation point for ER cases for the region
Conduct and manage end-to-end internal workplace investigations on matters arising from employees’ escalations such as grievance, misconduct, policy breaches.
Provide advice and guidance to HR Business Advisors on handling employee escalations such as performance management, managing conflict, attendance issues.
Advises and coaches senior leaders to make the right employee relations decisions and mitigate risk to the business.
Track ER cases and conduct analysis to identify trend
Provides data and insights to recommend process improvements, training for managers, or other strategies to mitigate key trends.
Qualifications:
Employee Relations subject matter expert, with Asia-Pacific experience
Minimum 8-10 years of HR working experience in an MNC with proven track record in ER experience, including a demonstrated ability to provide HR Advisory support as described above
Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnership with internal clients as well as regional and global HR colleagues.
Confident, independent, dynamic, proactive, people and results-oriented personality with excellent communication, writing and interpersonal and influencing skills
Creative thinker and problem solver, strong multi-tasking skill and be able to work under pressure.
Pro-active and strong team player
Adaptable and flexible with high drive & commitment
