Global Head of Product

Location: Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam

Our client – a fast growing company building multi-country digital bank, are in search for a Global Head of Product to lead the design, build and manage new digital financial services offerings across key markets.

Twenty months post-launch, their first digi-bank reached 2.6m customers and this number continues to rise.

About the role:

Being part of the senior global leadership team, you will lead the full life-cycle of product development from strategy, concept, customer research and design through to product development, launch, iteration and support.

· Partner with business stakeholders across key markets to develop the vision, business case, and roadmap for the evolution of company’s proposition

· Define minimum viable product (MVP) for product launch and successive iteration and horizon mapping

· Lead product and agile delivery teams to prioritise backlog items, contribute to user story writing, ensure the team understands the product backlog, owning the product roadmap on behalf of business stakeholders and planning for sprints in conjunction with the scrum master for these sprints

· Work with UXD, marketing, analytics and the research team to identify customer personas and segments, validate MVP and product scope and deepen knowledge of customer needs, motivations and behaviors to influence designs that contribute to a rewarding customer experience

· Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., product managers, risk, compliance, legal, finance) to understand business imperatives, rules of engagement, expectations, analyse and mitigate risks and determine a strategic approach to product development

· Define appropriate success metrics and monitor those metrics post go-live to iterate the product to drive the optimal customer and business outcomes.

· Drive and implement a culture of data-driven design and product improvements using best practices (AB testing, funnel analysis, etc.).

Your Skills and Experience:

· Exceptional leadership skills and track record of building high performing teams

· Proven track record of designing and building products that deliver a beautiful customer experience and strong financial returns

· Comfort with working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and agile environment

· Proven track record of product improvement / iteration leveraging data-based strategies

· Strong influencing skills and experience successfully liaising with difficult business stakeholders and technical development teams to deliver digital products & services whilst maintaining strong relationships

· Industry tertiary qualified with Agile Product Owner qualifications is highly desirable

· Experience working in the financial services industry is an advantage
