Senior AI Software Researcher

My client is a leading multinational information technology and electronics company that focuses on cloud computing, AI and IOT platform.

As a senior AI Software Researcher, you will be a part of the team that emphasizes innovative solution co-creation with customers. You will be contributing your software development experience and expertise to put together solutions using advanced AI technologies and Big Data collected by the customer and/or sensors. As a research lab member, you will be exposed to social and technology trends that shape our future society.

Responsibilities:

* Create social solutions with advance AI technologies.

* Hands-on installation of technologies, setting up development environment, coding from scratch, automating build and deployment.

* Understand the intent of a concept and work closely with other team members to turn it into minimal viable product.

* Own and maintain solutions in a demonstrable state always.

* Support solution presentation during customer visits and exhibitions. Travels may be required.

* Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

* Preferred PhD/research-based MSc in the area of pattern recognition, computer vision, image and signal processing or related fields

* 2+ years of experience of programming (C++/Python/Java)

* Experience in research in one of the areas: image processing, video analysis or pattern recognition

* Interest in learning new technologies from top conference papers and preprints

* Passion in evaluate & enhance existing image processing and/or video analytics algorithms

* Excellent written and presentation skills

* Fresh graduates with strong passion in AI software algorithms development are encouraged to apply
