What’s this about?

My client is a global IT firm who is expanding its architectural team in Singapore. As a Senior Software Architect, you will bring your big picture thinking, technical expertise, real-world experience in driving enterprise-wide direction for multiple digital transformation programs. In this role, you will work closely with the internal IT leaders, sales/presales, delivery and development teams.

With the balance of your technical and business skills, you will collaborate with clients in understanding of client’s IT related business goals, challenges and to recommend them a technical strategy, blueprint and roadmap through recommended architectures and strategies. This includes analysing, designing and developing roadmaps and implementation plans based on a current versus future state solutions architecture.

You are trusted to define how technology can be used to solve a given business problem, to decide on which framework/platform/technology stack to use for the solution, to identify on how the applications will look and how they interact with each other.

You will also deliver and maintain the reference architecture that is understood at different levels in the organisation across different functional areas.

To strike a balance between cost, innovation, scale, efficiency and future-proofing with all of these grounded in business outcomes is crucial for this role.

What’s required?

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant working experience in software architecture with the ability to do code reviews (Java or .Net)
• Expertise in designing, implementing and managing advanced architectures in an application domain (including Information, Data and Solution) and integrating multiple systems or platforms
• Experience presenting architecture concepts, designs, and goals to technology leaders and partners
• It is a bonus if you have experience with structured hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
