Treasury Specialist – Middle Office

Salt Talent Search is looking to hire a Treasury Specialist for a Multinational Bank in Hong Kong on a 6-month and renewable contract role.

The candidate will join the team in Hong Kong which consists of 6 people focusing on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Treasury activities in sub-ledger and ledgers and working with Treasury Front Office and support stakeholders to support various business and enterprise initiatives. The candidate is expected to work closely with the International Treasury Finance team, the in country Treasury team and the various support stakeholders in Hong Kong and across countries to build a strong working relationships.

Responsibility:

• Support month end/quarter end close, specifically the correct and accurate representation of Treasury balances in sub-ledger and ledger.
• Contribute to commercial strategy of desk and able to consult Treasury stakeholders
• Contribute to global strategy to automate and enhance technology improvement including scoping and UAT and drive operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

• Accounting Degree with 3+ years of finance experience
• Good product knowledge and solid work experience across a diverse range of products, including FX derivatives, Securities, Repo. Good understanding of P&L attribution
• Strong control mind set, interpersonal and communication skills, a team player
