NYC Salties hold Halloween Bake Sale

For Halloween, we held a bake sale in the New York office to raise money for a Charity called Fountain House. We were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of goodies that were contributed – it was SUCH an amazing turnout! We had cookies, muffins, brownies and rice krispie treats (a nice healthy selection) on display in our WeWorks office. We were delighted by the contributions and are consequently looking to hold a Holiday Bake Sale to follow up in December.

WeWorkers were certainly swayed by our baked treats, as they were all very generous on the day; they also witnessed us flaunting our negotiating skills when we were selling the goodies, which was definitely amusing! Our skills must have paid off as we ended up raising $267 for our chosen charity, which we are all very proud of.

All our earnings will be going to Fountain House, which is a non-profit organisation that helps those with mental illnesses by providing a selection of opportunities for them to live, work, and learn. Thank you to everyone who contributed; we really did enjoy ourselves and are so happy to be donating to such a supportive organisation.
