Sales Manager – SMB

Toronto Permanent $150000.00 - $170000.00 annually + plus additional benefits

100% remote working opportunity (BASED IN CANADA).

Our client is a high-growth SaaS Start-Up in the FinTech / Payroll market who received significant funding in 2020 to support their global expansion. Their mission is to help their customers set-up remote working capabilities and employ international workers with ease, an ethos they follow themselves, and they are seeking an SMB Sales Manager to help refine strategy and execute leading a sales team in the SMB market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SMB Account Executives (selling to companies between 1-200 employees).
  • Attract and add high performing talent.
  • Drive a high performance and high accountability culture to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team with a focus on continual learning and skill-gap improvement.
  • Develop and implement processes that scale and drive consistent execution.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to proactively adapt to changing conditions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years leading a team of Account Executives with demonstrated success in a transactional, short sales-cycle competitive SMB market.
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions, take ownership of implementation and/or project management of sales initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPI’s, the frequency and impact of these root causes and your recommendations to double down or course correct as needed.
  • Analytical sales leader with strong experience using data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to communicate complex information and processes in a streamlined, easy-to-understand way.
