UI Architect

A client of ours is seeking a Full-Time UI Architect to join their team ASAP at their Teaneck, New Jersey office!

(They’re also interested in re-locating candidates to their Atlanta, Charlotte, or San Fran offices, so if you’re ready to escape NYC, this would be an amazing opportunity for you too!)

As a UI Architect, you’ll be responsible for architecture, high level design, coding, unit testing, code reviews, and more!

A Glimpse of What You’ll Do Every Day:

• You’ll collaborate every day with an amazing team of engineers to design and launch new features!
• You’ll team up with Designers and convert designs to visual elements.
• Understand and implement security and data protection.
• You’ll understand modern UI frameworks enough to analyze and recognize the most suitable frameworks.
• Experience working with Agile Development methodology and familiar with the development life-cycle and with relevant tools like JIRA or others like Rally.

What You’ll Need to Know:

• Comfortable in front-end web development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3, Angular 2+ / ReactJS
• Solid knowledge of SQL and RDBMS database design
• Solid programmer in Java
• Experience writing RESTful web services
• Have a good understanding of Java EE architecture, with a focus on JPA, and JAX-RS web services
• Have a general understanding of AJAX, object-oriented JavaScript, the DOM and JSON
• Comfortable with virtualization technologies like Oracle VM and VMWare
• Must have experience within an agile development team (preferably Scrum)
