Creative Director

Our client, a Global Digital Agency, is currently searching for a passionate Creative Director to join their New York team. This company is the leader in providing dynamic and impactful solutions for the world of creative, content, and commerce.

Responsibilities:

• You will lead Client Presentation’s and Pitching the business.
• Build and establish strong client relationships. (old and new)
• Guide and grow a small design team, be a mentor to them, and provide feedback and oversight on production work and deliverable.
• Know the world of ecommerce platforms and their capabilities (Magento, Demandware, etc)
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Translate business strategies into design opportunities for staff.
• Enjoy providing guidance and direction to the team with a wide range of experience (primarily from Junior to Mid-level staff).
• Be mindful of project time-lines, efficiency, and productivity.
• Ready to lead, change, and inspire with the work you do.

Requirements:

• Experience partnering with strong UX teams
• Pitched, Concepted, Designed and launched e-commerce sites.
• Worked in a client-facing design role in a range of industries.
• Excellent problem-framing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholder management.
• Experience working with developers on multiple platforms and in a range of software development methodologies (ie. waterfall, Agile, Lean, remote teams, etc.).
• Portfolio of conceptual Digital work
• Have a can-do attitude and no problem getting your hands dirty with the team, when needed.
• Previous experience with the Magento and/or Demandware platforms is a plus.
