Creative Director

Hiring an Art Director who will work part of a team of account people, designers, writers and producers to create a range of material, from print collateral, videos, digital content and more. In this role you will partner with Creative Directors, the strategy team, and strategic partners to define and translate strategies into creative concepts

Other duties include:

• Lead group brainstorming/concept development sessions
• Lead and inspire the creative team to develop innovative design solutions, from broad concept development through implementation
• Lead client presentations
• Maintain client contact in the area of expertise
• Provide clear constructive direction on content and design solutions
• Lead creative team and production team to ensure the feasibility of design solutions and articulate design principles and guidelines for implementation
• Provide strategic, innovative insights for the development of client deliverables
• Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness into all methodologies and deliverables
• Lead portions of new business presentations as a subject matter expert
• Define and lead cross-practice and cross-office initiatives
• Lead group ideation sessions
• Oversee the quality of concepts across multiple project teams simultaneously
• Define criteria for assessing concepts/project deliverables and solutions
• Inspire and drive the team to breakthrough solutions
• Contribute to firm-building activities
• Proactively participates in knowledge sharing efforts
• Suggest new methods and techniques improve our practice
• Proactively maintain expertise in design software packages
• Conduct appraisals and career development

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience working at a digital and/or integrated agency
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality through a broad range of digital & traditional channels
• Experience guiding designers, working with strategists, user experience architects, copywriters, and technologists
• Have a thorough understanding of interaction design principles and methodologies
• Mastery of all key design tools and platforms
• Critical eye for detail
• Comprehensive awareness of current and emerging design and technology trends
• Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards and designing for inclusive experiences
