Seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join a leading Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and quick learner who can think strategically across different media platforms and own the creative process from inception to production. This candidate must feel comfortable multi-tasking and should have the ability to work on a range of projects and tasks – from updating data on a fact sheet to enhancing our brand guidelines. In this role, you will coordinate with various internal stakeholders and must be a team player with excellent communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and execute on creative vision and cohesive visual identity for the Company
  • Must be comfortable handling all project types and tasks-it is imperative that this candidate is able to work on technical tasks such as updating marketing collateral as well as creating new materials and design concepts
  • Ensure a unified look across print and digital media
  • Act as a brand advocate for internal stakeholders by developing brand guidelines and proactively monitoring correct brand usage
  • Lead creative sessions to understand business needs, deliverables and timing for design projects
  • Translate verbal ideas into visual concepts, partnering with internal clients through design development of digital and print collateral such as brochures, one-sheets, emails, advertising, websites and corporate presentations
  • Oversee the production of materials from start to finish, including paper/finish selection, print quality and color, budget, deadline management, and logistics
  • Coordinate with Marketing and various internal clients to develop and maintain seamless communication, workflow, and procedures
  • Manage external vendors, including design partners, printers and photographers, working to produce and deliver high-quality products and services
  • Accountable for overall creative excellence, including problem-solving, creative strategy, quality of craft, innovation, and impact of creative product
  • Responsible for the leadership and direction of the creative process of assigned projects, from initial idea through to implementation
  • Ensuring all projects meet or exceed quality standards
  • Proactively research and communicate current trends and technologies in the creative area

DESIRED SKILLS

  • 3 – 5 years of graphic design experience, preferably with experience in financial services

Strong design and page layout skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; manage time efficiently
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a high sense of urgency
  • Experience with digital mediums, specifically with web and email design
  • Familiarity with print production processes.
  • Knowledge of web standards and design principles
  • Comfortable multi-tasking
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn independently
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
